EYEGLASSES

To make things easier for you, we’ve taken all the complexity out of buying your next pair of eyewear and boiled it all down to these simple steps:

Select your lens material:
First, you need to decide on the lens material. We’ll work with you to identify which material type is right for you. We have all the latest materials the industry has to offer, ranging from plastic and glass to high-impact resistant polycarbonate and a space-age hyper index. Whatever you need, we’ve got it.

Select your lens treatment:
Once you have selected your lens material, you can customize it, with one of three categories of ophthalmic lens treatments offering a variety of features.

  • Anti-reflective coating
  • Polaroid, transitions, photogrey or standard tint
  • Scratch Coating, chemical hardening and UV coatings are standard at no extra charge.

We also offer specialty lenses that can be adapted to several different lifestyles, including golf lenses, occupational bifocals, music lenses, access, polarized and transition lenses. Ask your optician for more details.

Select your frames:
Now that you’ve knocked numbers one and two out, you’re ready to begin browsing our dispensary for the right look. (We know this is the fun part.) That’s why we do everything we can to provide you with the most exclusive selection anywhere in the city. We suggest you select some sunglasses. After all, sunglasses are crucial in promoting overall eye health. Studies have shown that ultraviolet exposure can lead to the development of cataracts and macular degeneration.

Proper Care of your New Glasses
Please clean and maintain your lenses by using a cleaning solution. DO NOT USE PAPER PRODUCTS!  To properly care for your new lenses, follow these simple tips:

  • To prevent scratching while cleaning, rinse lenses with water before using an anti-reflective safe cleaner or mild liquid soap.
  • Dry your lenses with a microfiber or 100% cotton cloth.
  • Never lay your eyewear face down.
  • Avoid leaving your eyewear where it may be exposed to excessive heat (like a glove box or dashboard).
  • Avoid exposure to ammonia, hair spray and household cleaners.
  • Hand-wash your cleaning cloth periodically, avoiding fabric softeners.
